BG& S Peening and Consulting is a disabled veteran owned small business and was formed on August 14, 2002, opened doors in September 1, 2003, Obtained FAA repair station authorization in September 6, 2005 and accredited under AS 9003 in February 06 2007.
BG&S Peening and Consulting provides a quality service in surface enhancement conditioning known a shot peening, glass bead peening, flapper peening tumble cleaning and abrasive blast cleaning to Automotive, Aero-Space, Medical and mining and drilling industries. We work with all our customers and their engineering group thru testing, system development, and training. By doing so, we develop good relationship and creditability with our customers and their staff, Example Bryon has worked with a company the past few years where the out come has produce a positive procedure for the medical industry, applying Anti-Microbial onto the metal surface killing over 300,000 bacteria in less then an hour.
Bryon Ater owner of BG&S Peening and Consulting began his career in the US Air Force as an Aircraft and engine mechanic back in 1972. Started his Airframe and Power plant training and the took written examine for Airframe and Power plant license in Rhine stein AF base Germany, completed with taking the practical version in Scottsdale AZ. This allowed Bryon to continue his career in the aviation industry going from Garret research to Allegheny airlines (now US Airways). Bryon spent 23 years going from mechanic to Production Supervisor and upgrade manger of US Airways engine overhaul facility until closure in 2001 where at this time Bryon was let go.
August 14, 2002 Bryon Ater developed BG&S Peening and Consulting LLC. Sept 2005 BG&S received FAA repair station authorization, and January 2007 received our quality assurance accreditation under AS 9003. ON BG&S fore front is NADCAP accreditation and Composite repair.
